The Art Bank Retreats and B&B,
75 High Street, Dalbeattie, DG5 4HA. Built in 1863, The Art Bank enjoyed life as a family
home before becoming a branch of The Clydesdale Bank in 1940. Today it is a beautiful venue
available for creative retreats and luxury B&B, and is a great place to get away from it all. The
Art Bank has three beautifully appointed and themed guest rooms: The Picasso Room, a family room
with shared bathroom, The Van Gogh Room, a double with private bathroom and The Monet Room, a
double with shared bathroom. There is also a workshop, studio and meeting space. As well as B&B,
owner Mandy Nicholson offers 4 and 7 day retreats at The Art House with activities including painting,
drawing, and crafting. Mandy will also provide life coaching and business for art and design
sessions. All food and equipment is all included, with all meals catered using local Scottish
