This site contains many thousands of digital images, all of which are protected by strict copyright as set out on our Copyright, Terms & Conditions page.
We are very happy to discuss other uses of our image files, whether for digital or printed media, for websites, books or brochures. Please e-mail us with details of the images you have in mind and the uses you would like to put them to.
Prices for use in printed media depend on the nature of the proposed use, whether the publication is commercial or non commercial, the scale of circulation, and the number of images involved: please provide full information with your enquiry. Prices for online use (e.g. on websites) of Undiscovered Scotland's images can also be discussed on a case-by-case basis depending on the nature of use and wider market rates. Discounts will be applied where the proposed use is non-commercial or where we have agreed that use is likely to be of benefit to Undiscovered Scotland in terms of exposure (e.g. credit on popular sites) and/or inward traffic via links from popular sites.
Our images are available as JPEG format files. The most recent images are available as Nikon "fine" quality JPEG files at a 24MP resolution of 6016x4016 pixels; while many earlier images are available as Nikon "fine" quality JPEG files at a 12MP resolution of 4288x2848 pixels; and most older images coming in as Nikon "fine" quality JPEG files at an 8MP resolution.
