Bordanoost Lodge, Haroldswick, Unst, Shetland, ZE2 9EE. With superb views
over Haroldswick Bay, Bordanoost Lodge provides an excellent base for exploring the fascinating island
of Unst, the most northerly inhabited of the Shetland Islands.
Available year round on a self catering basis,
Bordanoost Lodge may also be booked on a bed and breakfast basis during periods of May and September.
The well-appointed accommodation comprises a fully fitted kitchen, a separate heated sun lounge, which
also doubles as a breakfast room, a cosy lounge with log burning fire and three twin bedrooms, all
en-suite with either a large shower room or a bath with shower. The Lodge sits in an expansive walled
garden, on the edge of a pebble beach, where abundant birdlife, otters and seals can regularly be seen.
Unst has a good range of amenities. Baltasound, the main settlement, is just two miles from here and
there is excellent walking, cycling, fishing on the island as well as a rich and diverse history to
explore. Self Catering is offered all year from £695-£1695 per week. B&B is available in May and
September at £55 per person per night. There is free Wifi. Please note, this is a non-smoking house.
