Blarghour is a 2000 acre working hill farm offering a choice of high quality accommodation along the beautiful south-eastern shore of Loch Awe within easy reach of a wide range of activities and attractions. The four self catering cottages, sleeping from 2 to 6 guests, are all centrally heated and double glazed for year round comfort. Each has individual character and enjoys it own special place in this area of outstanding natural beauty. Generously sized beds feature throughout, all linen is included and properties come equipped with guest convenience in mind. Children are welcome and cots and highchairs are available. Coorie Doon Cairnbaan, 19 Cairnbaan Cottages, Cairnbaan, Lochgilphead, PA31 8SJ. Nestled on the banks of the Crinan Canal, this charming cottage provides the ideal base from which to explore this magnificent and historic area. Coorie Doon is a contemporary renovation of an original Victorian cottage. The accommodation is fresh and light and comprises an open plan kitchen/dining/lounge area on the ground floor. The kitchen comes very well equipped and there is a cosy wood burner in the lounge. On the upper floor are two bedrooms, one with a kingsize canopy bed and views over the Crinan Canal, the other with a double bed, plus, there's a bathroom with a spacious walk in shower. Outside is a South facing patio garden overlooking the canal. Comfortable garden furniture makes this an ideal spot to relax and watch the yachts pass by. Coorie Doon has adjacent parking and bicycle storage on site. Up to two well behaved dogs are welcome for a small additional charge. Open all year.
